Suzie over at Suzie Speaks has been doing a daily gratitude challenge in order to highlight the good things in life that we’re most grateful for (you can find her introductory post here.) The last post she did is about hobbies and interests that we’re most grateful for and I thought I’d write about my hobbies and interests that I love and appreciate.
I’ve been blogging for quite some time now and lately it’s the only way I’ve been exercising my writing skills. Being able to write and share it with the world is something that makes me feel connected and sane in an often crazy world.
Ever since Adam and I got Pablo, we’ve been more active. Going for a walk (almost) every day has made me feel more energized. Sometimes I don’t like it and don’t want to, but I definitely appreciate it afterwards.
I stopped reading for a while because I was tired of being around books. When you go to work surrounded by books, then come home and try to read books, you get a little worn out from the whole thing. But now I’m getting back into the reading zone (albeit slowly and carefully) and I’m starting to love it again.
I’m re-discovering music again, especially the music I grew up with and it’s so invigorating and inspiring.
Adam and I go on a lot of adventures together, and I’ve been to so many places and different experiences and now I don’t know what I’d do without Adam and adventure.
