What is the ideal reading weather?
I see this question a lot when I’m looking for inspiration for book-related journal prompts. To be quite honest, I don’t have the perfect reading weather. I’ll read when I want and it doesn’t matter whether or not it’s sunny or cold out.
If push comes to shove, however, I would say that the perfect reading weather is a hot summer’s day. I’m sitting in the back yard on a comfy lawn chair, my feet propped up, and the sun in my face. My dog is stretched out at my feet and a cold drink is in the cup holder. Here, a book is in my lap and I don’t have to do anything except read my book and rub my dog’s ears on occasion. Life is good.
Some people love a gray, rainy day when it comes to books, but I’m not that type of person. Gray weather is dark and depressing. I don’t like having that feeling.
So what is your type of reading weather?
